PMP ​Project Manager


Qualifications:


  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager
  • PMP certification required 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to all audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful operating in a virtual environment
  • Broad knowledge and expertise of Project Management methodologies and industry best practices
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint


Responsibilities:


Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. 


Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.


Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. 


Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. #PMP

The API Connect Engineer


​Contract To Hire -- no sponsorship offered for this position.


Design, develop and implement API's, as well as work on broad set of middleware technologies including IBM API Connect, MQ, IIB, DataPower and Informatica ETL. Responsible for supporting API platform and related activities including requirement analysis, resource-based API modelling and service architecture.


Preferred experience in ESB Technologies such as MQ/IIB, Mule ESB, Oracle OSB, Dell Boomi OR ETL Technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter, Datastage, Ab-initio.

Orchestrate services within API Connect and provide support for API platform. Provide subject matter expertise on all the areas including Gateway, Analytics, Management and Developer Portal  

Create high-level and low-level detail design documents for API Connect. Deploy API’s using DataPower and micro gateway. Create scripts using XSLT 

Implement best practices, API standards and security implementation to maintain and enhance platform stability and usability.

Support the development of business cases for upgrades or the introduction of new integration technologies. Translate the functional requirements so as to meet the specified technical requirements 

Integrate middleware with database technologies including MS SQLserver, Oracle, DB2 or others.

Provide backup support for project deliverables leveraging broader stream of integration technologies such as WebSphere MQ, IBM Integration Bus, Mule ESB, Informatica ETL.  

Train other members of team on API Connect as needed.
